Ferret Infoline: info@ferret.org.au

We have 16 ferrets available. [view]

Meetings: THe meetings for 2016 will be updated soon.

November Meeting: Thankyou to everyone who attended our November social day at Buxton. Photos from the day are available in our new photo gallery by clicking here.

We are a volunteer, non profit, incorporated society.

Our aims are:

  • To promote the welfare of ferrets
  • To educate interested people regarding all aspects of ferret care and ownership
  • To find homes for strays and unwanted ferrets, and
  • To provide fellowship for ferret owners.

The NSW Ferret Welfare Society does not breed ferrets for sale or recommend breeders. If you have received information from a breeder claiming to be selling ferrets as an authorised member of the Society please let us know.

Our Society sells ferrets that are rescued or surrendered. More information on obtaining a ferret is available on the available ferrets page.

Warm weather is starting up and it's possible we're in for some bad heatwaves. A ferret starts to become uncomfortable when temperature s reach mid 20's and will put a ferret at a very high risk of suffering heat stroke and possible death.
